Mid-term meeting in Cork

A landmark mid-term meeting of the FEM-SKILLS project, hosted by ETN Training Vision Ireland, was held in Cork, Ireland, on 12-13 September 2024. This two-day event brought together all project partners, enabling a comprehensive review of what has been achieved so far and the planning of strategic next steps.

During intensive working sessions, partners conducted a detailed mid-term evaluation of the project, focusing on the main objective – to strengthen entrepreneurship support systems dedicated to young women. The methodologies used were reviewed and standardised approaches were developed, while maintaining flexibility for local adaptations. Particularly important was the analysis of results, which provided concrete data on the project’s impact on the development of entrepreneurial meta-skills among young women and its role in promoting gender equality.

The meeting culminated in the development of a detailed action plan and division of responsibilities for the next phase of the project. Precise follow-up procedures were established to ensure that momentum was maintained in achieving the project’s main objective – empowering young women through the development of their entrepreneurial competences. This mid-term meeting was a key checkpoint in the life cycle of the FEM-SKILLS project, strengthening the cooperation between partners and setting a clear direction for the next steps.
