From 28-30 October 2024, the Arrabal-Aid Association in Malaga, Spain, organised a three-day training programme focused on developing skilled facilitators of the FEM-SKILLS model. This specialised training brought together nine experienced female entrepreneurs to act as mentors and trainers for young female entrepreneurs, a key step in the implementation of the FEM-SKILLS methodology in partner countries.
The programme was designed to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial success and mentoring skills. It focused on equipping experienced female entrepreneurs with the specific skills and tools needed to guide budding female business leaders through their entrepreneurial journey. The training fitted perfectly with the broader objectives of the FEM-SKILLS project to foster sustainable entrepreneurship among young women.

Participants learned how to integrate coaching and mentoring approaches, creating a flexible framework that can adapt to different business development needs. The programme emphasised the importance of understanding adult learning principles and their application in business mentoring contexts
